I fell in love with Tybee and moved here in November 1979. From the beginning, I was thrilled to live near the beach and enjoyed the laid-back atmosphere. The local residents were a happy mixture of ages, philosophies, personalities, lifestyles, and economic levels. Over the years, they have consistently demonstrated their support and love for each other. Tybee truly "takes care of its own."
