The Tybee Breeze entertainment magazine hosted the Best of Tybee Awards at Fannie's Wednesday night. It was a lot of fun and many hard-working people got awards for their contributions to our island. But some categories weren't included.....so let's honor them here......by posting a comment! You may post anonymously or select OTHER to type in your name. I fell in love with Tybee and moved here in November 1979. From the beginning, I was thrilled to live near the beach and enjoyed the laid-back atmosphere. The local residents were a happy mixture of ages, philosophies, personalities, lifestyles, and economic levels. Over the years, they have consistently demonstrated their support and love for each other. Tybee truly "takes care of its own."
